This faculty area imparts knowledge in plantation forestry, aforestation and reforestation. The students are exposed to tree improvement in relation to management, gene structure, fertilization and seed development, forest seeds, seed orchards, economic consideration in forestry breeding programmes, forest engineering, nursery, environmental contamination and hygene, species selection, etc.
